Home Groups & Prayer
At ChristChurch we encourage everyone to be part of a small group. Given the size of our church family, we encourage everyone to be part of a small group as well as attending on Sundays. Home Groups meet three out of every four weeks during school term time and then come together on the first week in every month for the Central Prayer Meeting. Home groups aim to provide a smaller fellowship group in which we can learn from God’s Word the Bible, and through prayer and encouragement, seek to live out what we learn.
We try to meet within local neighbourhoods so that collectively we can be a witness to our local community. Home groups provide a chance to invite friends to socials and an unthreatening opportunity for friends to be invited to explore the Bible themselves.

Prayer is an important part of the life of ChristChurch and our whole church prayer meeting is held once a month usually on the first week of the month, either on a Tuesday or Thursday evening.

Central Prayer Meeting
Women
Women's Bible study groups meet every Thursday morning and fortnightly on a Wednesday afternoon. It is a great opportunity for women to get together and study the Bible, pray for each other and build friendships. If you have pre-school aged children, a crèche is provided at our Thursday morning group meeting at Vaughan Road. We also have a monthly group that meets on Saturday mornings for those unable to get along to a Bible study during the week.

Men
Cutting Edge is a men’s group that meets from 8 - 9.30am on the third Saturday of the month. The groups are hosted in various homes around the area and time is spent enjoying breakfast, studying the Bible and spending time in prayer.

Are you available to meet on a Tuesday lunchtime between 12.45 and 2pm at Vaughan Road? All men who are free during the day are invited to come along to this group to study the Bible, build friendships and encourage one another.
