Members Meeting

Dates: 9th July and 12th November

Venue: Vaughan Road Building

The next Members Meeting will be held on 9th July at 8pm at Vaughan Road and all members are encouraged to attend. If you are not a member but would like to find out about membership please speak to Sarah Vickers on 01582 713031 or vickersse@aol.com

Coffee Stop

Dates: 22nd April, 27th May and 24th June

Coffee Stop is an opportunity for us to build bridges into our community. Our aim is to engage in gospel conversation, be a more visible presence, offer prayer and make available information on all that we do at ChristChurch. Contact Sara Ioannou on 01582 764733 if you would like to know more.

Church Walk

Date: 10.15am Saturday 28th April

We’ll be meeting at The Skew Bridge Pub in Southdown for a 10.15 start and walking to Knott Wood on the Rothamsted Estate to see the bluebells – hopefully well in flower. The walk is about 4.5 miles and we should be back at the pub by about 12.15.

Everyone is most welcome to come along and it would be great to have some new folk join us. It’s a lovely way to get to know each other whilst enjoying the beautiful countryside and with the added bonus of helping us to keep fit. If you plan to stay for the pub lunch/snack/drink it would be helpful if you could let me know a few days beforehand so that I can reserve a table.

For any further information please email me at carole.ramsay@ntlworld.com. Hope to see you there!

London Men's Convention

Date: Saturday 2nd June

John Piper speaks on ‘Men Who Make A Difference’ at Westminster Central Hall, London

Please put this date in you diary and if you are interested in joining the group going along to this please contact David Reavell or David Key as a block booking of tickets is planned.

david.key@gmx.com or david.reavell@btinternet.com

Newcomers Tea

Date: Saturday 10 June  3.30 - 5.30

Venue: 8 St James Toad

We welcome anyone who has started coming to ChristChurch in the last year or so, to a Newcomers' Tea at the home of our Minister and his wife, Gareth and Cil- la Lewis.

An informal occasion (with lots of tea and cake!) to meet and greet each other and some of the church leaders.

To help our planning, please let Sarah Vickers (01582 713031) or vickersse@aol.com know if you are coming.
